Need recommendation

We are staying at Animal Kingdom Kidani Village. My great aunt and uncle will be driving down from Ocala to visit and have dinner. Initially I planned to just take them to Sanaa but now I am not sure they would like the menu or the prices.
What would be another suggestion? I love downtown Disney but am worried it will be too busy and overwhelming.

Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom, or somewhere at the Boardwalk area. Or how about one of the Moderates?

If you want just a really good meal at really good prices try Cookes of Dublin in Downtown Disney, it's just Quick Service but the food is excellent, cooked fresh when you order. Anytime before 5:30 pm Downtown Disney isn't really that bad, after that it's starts getting really packed, the parking lots fill up and there are people everywhere. I would not recommend Portobello's, we ate there for lunch and got mild food poisoning, something messed us up, the food was not as good as we thought it would be, it was really disappointing.

Raglan Road is nice, but it's more expensive than Cookes.

Boma in AKL is an awesome buffet, but price wise it might be a bit much, it's at least $35 a person, that's usually more than what we spend at Sanaa.

Tough call, there are a lot of restaurants. Kona Cafe is pretty nice, if you went to the Poly you can watch the fireworks on the beach.

Another place in DTD is Earl of Sandwich. It gets crowded, but the line is always moving. The sandwiches are delicious.

Another vote for Raglan Road, delicious food & wonderful service; they have live music in the evening.

I agree that RFC at AK is a good choice as it's so close to AKL and has a varied menu.

Have a great time.

I always see a Papa Johns car rolling around on Disney property. I am sure you can order pizza.
