I honestly couldn't say for sure. You're probably right, though. It's just packaged differently than the ones in previous years.
Before this, the cakes all looked the same and just came on a plate, not in a box. So I thought this was the newer one. But I don't remember if it was included in the decoration package I ordered, or if it was separate.

In 2011 that would have been the cake that came with the Celebration package. The cake has been eliminated from the package within the last year.

Agree...I tried looking at the date on the order form, but it was updated last month, so I knew that wouldn't help me.

SORRY!!!

Wow! thanks everybody! I am feeling a lot better and at ease in ordering a cake. This would actually be for my sister who is a sweet tooth, so Im sure she will like it, but I want everyone else to enjoy it too. A simple butter cream frosting and filling would do for us. We have had some at Disney World and love them, if they are the same ones or pretty similar, then we know everyone will enjoy. Can't wait to see some photos! Thanks again!

I looked at the info that's posted in the FAQ sticky and the pricing info there is from early 2011 and the little cake is not listed on that form.

I've ordered the in room birthday celebration package for my hubby and it doesn't come with a cake
Do I need to sneakily tip off our servers that it's DH's birthday so that they can embarass him with a rendition of Happy Birthday

Anyone know if you can get a special order gluten-free birthday cake? My DD will turn 11 on our next cruise and she has celiac disease.

I think you can, but not 100% sure. I would call and ask. I know they accommodate special food needs.
