Little Disney Traditions

If you've been to Disney more than twice, you've probably started little traditions without even realizing it. Do you...

eat Mickey ice cream bars while saving your parade seats?
take the same posed photos in front of the same landmarks?
save a special meal as a send off before you get on the plane?

I'm just wondering how other people "personalize" their Disney experiences...

If we were characters:
Rich- Baloo
Cori- Fairy Mary
Lexi (9)- Belle
Savannah (7)- Jesse
Madeline (5)- Tinkerbell

I always take a picture of my son riding the carousel, because that was his first ride at Disney. In fact that was his first carousel ride period, at 18 months, because I refused to let him ride any other carousel before riding the one at MK.

-I have a Red Velvet Cheesecake Cupcake from Starring Rolls while waiting for the Beauty the Beast show to start

-Take a photopass photo of us jumping somewhere!

-If we arrive on an EMH evening, we'll head into MK to meet Mickey right away!

-And I ALWAYS make sure to end the trip at Magic Kingdom, and after Wishes when everyone's making their way out of the park I head up to the Train Station and just soak it all up and watch everything and take a last look down Main St at the castle!

On our first trip with our kids in '05, we found the Mickey head photo spot behind the Contemporary. We started taking a pic there every trip (usually 2 yrs apart), it's fun to see how the kids have grown.

We too always spend our last full park day at MK and do one last character breakfast before heading to the airport. Also, Tink "visits" our room each night and leaves little gifts for dd & ds.

On that first trip in 2000, we took the Ferry from TTC to MK, then at closing we took the monorail back to TTC. I wanted my kids to experience both. Now its just tradition.

We try one new restaurant every trip. Also I have pics of the kids in practically every fountain in Epcot. I don't pose them, they just flock to the body of h2o.

We've been ending our trips with the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade before heading to the airport for our evening flight home.

After going to 'Ohana for breakfast and learning about the meaning, we decided the Poly was a great place to end our time in the World. After 2 not so nice experiences at 'Ohana, we chose Kona instead. We're still at the Poly and we love the yummy food there.

My first full day there has to be at Magic Kingdom. If I haven't been to MK yet then I don't feel like I am at WDW yet.

On our first family trip many years ago we bought a legacy tile at Epcot. Each year that we go we find it and take a picture of our children standing next to it.

The last supper before we leave I do it all up Disney: paper Disney plates ,our Disney cups, mickey chicken nuggets, mickey ice cream treats etc.. And of course we play the planning DVD. Gets us all excited!

I camp out for a centered, close-to-the-castle spot for Wishes and eat a Mickey bar! I can't bring myself to watch it from any other location!

Breakfast at Kona is also a requirement at least one morning.

My first meal is at Via Napoli and my last day is always at Magic Kingdom.

I also make sure I have a character breakfast at CP before the park opens because walking up the empty street is pretty darn cool.
