What's with the March Break Forecast!
Listen, I know the "glass half full" Sayers will comment, "it's warmer than home" but I'm hoping for temps in the 20s at least! Right now seems its in a heat wave but then dropping like a rock and taking almost a week to get back to 20s. Let's hope that changes! 9 more sleeps...........I'm worse than the kids.

We haven't even really needed jackets the past few March Breaks but with highs of the teens and lows of 10 I'm thinking we had better make some room! Hoping it will start forecasting warmer temps as we draw closer

We have had some great weather for March Break before, but in 2010, it was SO cold. We had to go and buy wooly gloves!!
Maybe pack a pair just incase! ![]() Miami looks a little warmer, but we have to get there first! Weather looking nasty for this week, so hope we can get away before it arrives. I'll be glad to just make the boat!

Will we need sunhats or tuques??? It makes packing difficult!!!! I just hope it changes before we go down.
Lows of 1 - I may as well stay home. I just hope it doesn't snow! Does anyone know if the pools are heated? |

Yes, pools are heated. But when it's in single digit temperatures, it's still pretty cold to swim! Don't think I braved the pool in 2010 but of course the kids did!

On the bright side, it looks like each day will be warmer than the previous day from the 2nd to the 9th! We'll be at the beach in HHI this year. Wearing a tuque with my swimsuit.

2010 was brutal......I remember. Oddly enough when you look at the weather channel (US weather site) it doesn't look too bad reaching 70 by March 5th. The weather network looks worse.
Pools are heated. The lifeguards know the Canadians because while they are bundled up in pants, hoodies and jackets - we are frolicking in the pool. A quick hottub immediately following takes the chill off the walk back to the room. This coming weekend looks super chilly but then starts a climb. I'm there on Tuesday and I'm full of hot air so you should all be fine! |

We had one of the guards closing up a pool one night in 2010 say to us, " you guys must be Cdn to swim in that, and we had gotten sunburns at Discovery Cove the day before in 70 degree weather. That was another comment we had heard, you are eithier CDN or from the UK if you burn in 70 degrees. Maybe if we all join to together and do some kind of dance for Mother Nature she will turn it around for us.

I remember February 2010 when I had to head back to the resort from the parks for more clothes ... remember I never wear long pants in Florida ... until that day!

I know we can't control weather but I'm crossing my fingers and toes that it will be a little warmer than what the long range forecast is indicating. I'm going to place my hope that most often the long range forecast always changes and this time hopefully for warmer.....

I'm sorry guys, it's all our fault. Every time we have gone this time of year the weather has been so yucky. One time we even packed up and left early and moved up north to warmer temps in North Carolina. This year we decided to give March Break a try in Florida again instead of going in the fall. So if it's cool, its our curse and I'm so sorry we are sharing it with you. Please don't hate us!

Look at the weather channel. Much better than the weather network. Still hoping for heat.
