Surprising the Kids in the morning!

DH & I decided earlier this week that we could probably squeeze in a quick weekend to the World before Spring Breakers descend upon the area. (we have AP) I spent the week optimistically packing snacks, drinks, & all the stuff we'll need. We haven't mentioned it to DD or DN because I hate disappointing them if it doesn't work out (he has a lot of last minute shedule changes these days), but he just called & told me to book a room off-site for Sat night so it's a GO!

We told the girls we plan on having fun this weekend because DH has been working non-stop & needs a break & asked them to come up with some ideas. DD has suggested roller skating, ice skating, doing lunch & ice cream, Chuck E Cheese or Pump It Up. It isn't even crossing her mind to mention Disney; I think she's afraid to ask for too much, lol!!! DN has NO clue, thinks she's in for a long weekend of babysitting her little brother & will be shocked when she finds out my sister has been searching her room to put her park bag together. (Sorcerers cards, sunglasses, etc.) I can't wait to see their reactions when we wake them early in the morning!!

We are 3 hrs away, will leave around 4am Saturday morning, grab breakfast & try to make RD at one of the parks. Sounds like with the marathon weekend, we're better off staying away from Epcot in the morning especially?

Can't give you any advice on the Epcot strategy, just wanted to pop on to say HAVE FUN! We are dealing with really cold temps in NY with a storm expected this weekend, so please have an amazing time and come back and post about it so we can live vicariously through you, LOL.

One more reason to get my DH to agree to move down there! Last minute Disney trips!!! Make sure you let us know what the kid's reactions were! Have a great trip.
