Which era building at pop century?

We always request the 70's section. It's very close to Classic Hall and bus transportation.

We always stay in building 9 and cut throught the parking lot to the bus stops. Very short walk.

Is building 9 the 90's? Just checked out the map. The 90's look the furthest?

When looking at the map, we take the rubik's cube stairs (80's section) on the far right of the section. We only stay in standard rooms, so if you are willing to pay extra you can stay preferred or pool preferred. There is no guarantee that a preferred room will be closer. Pool preferred is the best, but it is a lot more money. Honestly, with all the walking you will do on a Disney vacation, it may not be worth the cost to save a couple of minutes of walking. It isn't for us, at least.

depending on where younare it is not too far

I think that is a good thing to note!

At POR, where I normally stay, there is a preferred booking category, that is listed as a description as the buildings closest to the main amentities. However, not always the quietest.

What confuses me is that I paid for a preferred room but online check in gave me the option of choosing 2 preferences anyway. So would it be assumed those buildings would me the 50's, 60's and 70's?

I booked a preferred but online check in gives you the option of choosing a building, floor, view, near transportation, etc. Is paying for preferred even worth it? A family member recommended booking preferred. I didn't realize how many buildings there were when I booked. I'm just thinking about carrying two small kids at the end of a long day walking. The closer the room the better

We booked a preferred room at POP in October and were in the '60s. Room 4114 and we were very close to good court, buses and pool
