We currently have a 160pt BLT contract. We would really like to be able to say at BCV or BWV for the Food and Wine festival. We are considering purchasing a 25-50 point contract at either one of those two places direct. Here's my question...

Our stay when we go during the festival is usually 4 nights in a studio. This works out to about 65 points or so. If we book at the 11 month window with our add on, can we use our BLT points for the rest of the nights? In other words, in order to capitalize on the 11 month window advantage, do all your points need to be at that resort or can you use points points from another contract to fill in the ones you need?

You can only use points from that specific resort at the 11-month window. So you would have a couple of options:

You could book a couple of nights at whichever Epcot resort you add on at and the other couple of nights at BLT. Then at the seven month windo try and sitch those two BLT nights to the Epcot resort (but there are no guarantees for availability).

Or you could bank and borrow the Epcot resort points and use them every other year for a full four-night F&W trip booked at 11 months out.
