I was watching today and while he was asking JA at about 31 seconds into the video I uploaded if she recognized the girl on the couch and it looks to me like Kirk Nurmi shakes his head no real quickly to give Jodie the answer they want. Her other lady lawyer is like on the edge of her seat waiting for the answer, then after Jodie says no she relaxes and shakes her head no in agreement. It seems like they were scared she was going to give the wrong answer there and they all knew something. Am I crazy or not?

I looked at the link, and yup. You can see him shake his head right before she answers no to one of the questions.

OMG, OMG, what the HECK! Someone needs to get a message to JM to stand to HIS (JM's) FAR LEFT so that JA looks only to HER FAR RIGHT and not to her left toward KN. OMG. Is that ALLOWABLE in a COURT???

I was hoping someone on HLN or TruTV noticed it and would bring it up but it seems like they didn't see it or I'm crazy and that's not what happened. Surely it can't be legal though.

JA says that she wouldn't have dared written about catching him looking at kiddie porn or getting beaten in her journal. Even if that's true, you still wouldn't write "I haven't written the last few days because there's nothing noteworthy". You would put something like, "It's been a rough few days" or something like that. Unless along with lying to everyone else on the planet, she also lies to herself in her own journal. It makes ZERO sense.

It IS very subtle. To the point that KN, if questioned could say that he was NOT doing that at all. Its THAT subtle. BUT WE SEE YOU, KN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly, because she is a LIAR. I think that JM really PRESSED on that yesterday and I think JA was very smug about and because she probably knew from KN that JM would question JA on that very Journal entry.

I finally got to watch a little this morning since I wasn't at work. Maybe it's just me, but JM seems a little bit like he beats a dead horse sometimes. He's shown several times that she's been caught in lies, and he should certainly continue on that track, but once he's shows she's lied, I wish he would go on to another lie (or whatever) instead of getting bogged down and almost arguing with her.

For example, the journal entry where she talks about "every naughty fantasy our fruitful minds could conjure". I would have brought up her testimony about how everything is Travis's idea, and she can barely stand being put through it all

, and then I would have had her read the journal entry. It pretty much speaks for itself. It seemed to me that he went on and on questioning her about that part when there is no way she's ever going to acknowledge it verbally. But in my opinion, the journal says all anybody needs to know. It's that obvious.

And I agree with the poster about the "nothing noteworthy" statement. At the very least you would comment on it being a rough few days or something to that point.

The journal is blowing her out of the water, but I'm afraid it's getting muddied by the argumentative nature of the cross. JMHO, of course. Admitted, I only got to see a little of it before I had to leave.

ITA. It does seem like she paused an awful lot during her testimony at times, giving herself time to make up the lie.

I seriously hope the jury sees what we're all seeing. I'm watching Tru, still waiting for them to cover the magazine thing.

Why does everyone think he grilled her so hard about the day she found Travis with the boy photo? He must have something where the hours don't add up. This may have been covered yesterday and I may have missed it ...

I was reading another website forum about the case. Somebody made the connection of the magazine code with the inconsistency of her hair color. I wasn't thinking it was going in that direction, I thought it was going in the direction of the porn. However, what they said makes sense. They stated that when Jodi rented the car, her hair was blonde. She made an unplanned visit to Matt on June 2-3. Her hair was blonde at Matt's. She then went to a "nail salon" to have her nails done AND have her hair dyed. That is why JM asked her how long she was at the nail salon. We know her hair was brown when she was at Travis'. They went on to mention that the magazine code was for him to say her hair had been brown the whole time. Which shows intent to tamper with a witness. Also, they were talking about how Ann Campbell's BFF, Donovan, was at the trial yesterday. When the magazines were brought out, she hurried up and left the courtroom.

He didn't spell it out (yet) but she never went to Travis's house that day. There wasn't time. she got off work late, he went to a church thing and the calls and texts show they was no period of time for her to be at his house.

I think this is what JM is trying to point out. That she even lies to a private journal that she never had any intention for anybody to see.

Hey All Hope your day is going well.

Missed some of it yesterday, but what I did see only further re-enforced that she is a liar on just about every single thing.
I dont personally like JM style regarding questioning and am Hoping that the jury does not take that out on the prosecutions case....
which by the way, seems open and shut to me...
however lurking in the back of my mind is that other case in florida where the defendant walked

Only time will tell.
