I think someone said that it's 2.5 laps to a mile. I'm trying to figure out how to keep up with that. LOL.

And it's not always clear of obstacles and such.

Yeah, but people generally move aside when you run by, at least that's how it was on the trans Atlantic.

Eh, it's just lateral movement training. Something that's pretty necessary for most races.

Well, now I'm confused. People on here have said 2.5 laps to a mile, but on the deck plan online, it says it's a quarter mile. Hmm... It's not like GPS is going to work there (well, unless you do it while the ship is docked...otherwise it'll just make an interesting picture when you upload it).

Anyone know for sure? If it's only a quarter mile, it would be 4 laps to a mile, not 2.5.

Yep! Namely the Turkey Trot and a 5K I run every year. Lots of kids who seem to be training with the "sprint and STOP" method.

I also believe one mile is 2.5 laps. The ship is 1115ft long so ....

Good luck and watch out for the slick spots.

On the Magic it is 1/4 mile/lap, so your probably right about the 2.5 laps/mile on the Dream. R there iPod docks in the staterooms? Wondering if I should pack charger or not?

I know I'll be bringing a charger along! It doesn't take that much room, and thre is no way I'll get any kind of pace going (not that I'm uber speedy) with the music that was playing on the video playing.

The clock does fit the iPhone (4S and below) & iPod but as I recall it didn't charge so you should bring a charger to be sure.
