So what are your thoughts on Bikini Pictures on Facebook?
Do you automatically think "tramp" or something derogatory. Do you find that nothing's wrong with it? I am not talking about just random vacation pictures, but profile pictures or constantly posting them, or other provocative pictures in underwear. Do you think they are just trying to get attention? Do you think they are "addicted" to attention from men? And not just women, I see a lot of guys that think they are super "buff" posting lots of pics in no shirt, posing, I always kind of throw up in my mouth a little when I see that but (Not that there's anything wrong with that.
)I know one "lady" who has to be in her 40s who is supposedly a "model" and I"m like really? Who actually hires you? She looks like an aging escort (to put it politely) at best and its just down right embarrassing. I'm beginning to think she just has a screw loose. Oh man I think I need to do some Facebook friend deletions. ![]() So how do you feel about it? |

Ive never noticed it in profile pics unless it was an aspiring model. Would be a bit odd to me. Not that I have anything against a woman in a bikini

I think those women simply want attention. I remember a while back someone on my friends list posted a VERY provocative picture of her in a skimpy little bikini and she was just eating all the attention up. Made me kind of sick.

When I drink I find its easier to watch my children because I see all 3 of them double, so all 6 of them of them take all my attention

Yes I think that people who are constantly posting bikini pics on FB are just looking for attention. However I feel that way about most people who constantly post pics of themselves whether in a bikini or not

I have one facebook friend who constantly is changing her profile pics with various bikini/provocative poses. She has also had some enlargements done. Whenever she pops up in my feed I think she must be insecure and craving attention. Her posts help enforce that line of thought.

Not too long ago I deleted someone from Facebook because of this. A friend of mine sent me a text on Valentines day. It was a picture of the same girls fb. A collage of photos of her in a red bustier standing in front of her cards and gifts with her two sons!!!!! Also in the collage a photo of her and the teddy bear she got for V day snuggling it with bedroom eyes. There was a quote that said something like I hope you all have a great night I know me and teddy will! It's one thing if you want to flaunt yourself but why put your kids in the pictures???? |

Well, I only friend adults and none of those friend's post pictures of themselves in bikinis in provocative poses. Sounds like attention seeking behavior. How do people on her page respond to her? Do they tell he she looks great? Sounds like low self esteem to me.
If it bothers you, you can hide her posts and avoid having to see it. |

I as a guy actually like it when girls do that, but I do think the girls that do that are just craving attention. |

Pretty much every mom (we're in 40s) I know puts bikini pics on FB, if they are fit. Good for them, I say. A lot of them work out hard, run marathons and triathlons, and are proud of how they look. I think it's great.
I don't, personally, because I am as white as a sheet of paper, even in August. |

After years on the DIS, I have learned I have the most boring friends in the world. None of my FB friends have ever posted pictures of themselves in bikinis unless they are beach or pool pictures with their families! They look great in bikinis, but have never posted pin-up style pictures wearing them.

Agree. Once a year in the middle of summer, more power to you if you have the figure. Some people post the same type of pictures over and over---I sometimes feel like typing "you have cute kids and a nice husband, yet you never post pics of them, why?"

Honestly, yes. Again, I'm not taking about random vacation pic's in the photo album, but yes those posed, half naked ppl. as their profile pic....yes I think they're full of themself and naturally assume (whether true or not) that they are highly annoying and someone that I would not want to be around. That goes for men and women. |
