In my house it's usually me that's getting yelled at for starting the games or playing to rough.

My daughters are going to be tough though.

The snow has stopped and all I can thin about is the 3 hours of snow clearing I'll need to do when I get home from work.

Anyone else ready to start drinking heavily?:d rinking1

My youngest went thru that phase last summer. Mom started it by taking her to bed with her. If she was in our bed when I came to bed then i would carry her back to her room and tuck her in. Most of the time if she comes in in the middle of the night it doesn't wake me up and I just put her back in her room when I get up in the morning. She started kindergarden this fall and now that she is a "big girl" she doesn't try to come in unless she is sick or had a nightmare.
Just keep putting them in their beds to go to sleep and they will grow out of coming to yours in the middle of the night.

I wondered if that would impact you. I haven't had a raise in years now, and we're going through a workforce reduction program to give the Deans more raises. I guess this recession is now a permanent thing.

Fifteen minutes later she was in bed, light off, sound asleep. .
I wish I could home school mine and avoid these times set by our super educational school system. Mine are ok about sleeping at night - but will still fight it on occasion.

Glad to hear that you have peace and quiet. It has been a long week. Soccer practice for youngest today at 5:00 PM. It is 49 degrees here now but sunny. I wonder how long practice will last.

Sorry about that Fed. You deserve better from the taxpayers. Wish the powers that be on both sides weren't in power and maybe somebody with sense could get us out of this mess.

I only allow myself fermented beverages when I'm living the bachelor life so you can have mine as well.

There are advantages, but stressful right now as we are trying to pick out curricula for next year and trying to figure out how to pay for it.

I'd take 49 and sunny right now! Hope practice went well.
