Thanks Norm, DD was kindof in a "pout because we are leaving Disney" mood so she prob would not of participated anyways, the food was amazing, I almost had to roll myself on the Monorail, best food we had all weekend, and it beat all the food from the last trip too. Besides the DVC discount I was happy that I was able to buy the DVC 4 resort pin set with SSR, BLT, AKV and OKW, the first one I got, I'm glad I looked before we left but it had 2 BLT ones and no SSR so I exchanged it. And thank you again for the heads up on TOTWL, We all loved it and DD was so proud that she spotted the hidden Mickey on the 16th floor on the ceiling

Anyway, the Winter Storm Warning starts tomorrow morning at 6am. I called Southwest and got on an earlier flight, leaving at 6:15. It's a connecting flight in Kansas City instead of a direct flight, but if we can get out of Wisconsin before the storm hits I can deal with that.

Now to accelerate all of our plans by 6 hours, including cutting into my beauty sleep for the 3am wake up call to make the drive to the airport.
Sorry to hear that your sleep will be cut short, but better to be out ahead of the storm! Besides, sleep is overrated. At least that is what I think I heard. I was too busy napping to really pay attention though.

I honestly didn't take alot of pictures so my trip report will be alittle bland so it won't hurt my feelings if no one reads it. I also planned on taking a break from planning our Oct DL trip but as luck has it southwest opened up the flight dates this morning so hotel and air are now booked. Also welcome to all new Disdads that I missed while away and prayers for those family's who need them.
Welcome back, glad to hear you had a great trip!! But it apparently didn't happen... because you have no pics.

Which one do you guys use and would suggest?
I have verizon. Love the service, but hate that I feel like I've been mugged every month when they take my money.

I have an AT&T phone now, but I'd look to see who's got the best coverage around your house and where the pirate princess roams before I made a decision.
I have verizon and I was just surfing the web while on a phone call. Is that only with the Iphone?? I have a droid OS.

I was totally caught off guard. I was responding to a friend's email re: their Disney trip and she said...and Southwest has their fares out for October."
I stopped reading right there, stiff armed a small child and knocked down an old lady to get back to my desk so I could call my wife and confirm the times and book.
Congrats on booking the airfare! Always good to get that out of the way. I especially like that you booked a flight home. We didn't do that last time.

On our last trip, we ate their on our arrival day. We stayed at BLT and we made the mistake that day of going to the MK while we waited for our room to be ready. Everyone was tired\cranky at it was insanely busy. Fast forward to dinner at 6PM. To say I gorged is the understatement of the year! So the girls were pushing for us to stop at MK on the way back. I told them I didn't care what they did but that I was going back to the room. I've seen very mixed reviews for O'hana but we LOVED it.

Very cool! That's a big achievement.
My youngest DD had her second Tae Kwon Do session tonight. She absolutely loves it. And she enjoys kicking me in the shins as practice.

I was thinking that and it also reminded me of the college days when we'd go running in an attempt to cure our hangovers. Or when we had to run back to the bar where we left our cars.

Kinda have a weird idea, would anyone be up for A Finding Bigfoot expediation in either VA or PA this summer Although IMO after a few cocktails it would be way more interesting But a DDC Bigfoot expedition would be a 1st

Congrats on booking your flights, I booked ours yesterday too, but for west coast, did WDW Halloween last year so wanted to see DLs this year, we learned our lesson on doing a park on travel day last trip, did AK shortly after checking in and DD was cranky, we did 2 rides and tough to be a bug and Tusker house and that's it, so this time we explored our hotel on Friday and the park days ended up being awesome.

Good morning fellow dads hope all is well
