Clearly I know the movie better than you three.

He was the blind man who befriended the monster. One of the most hilarious performance ever!

I cant pick a favorite. Gene Hackman is one of the few actors who is great in all of his roles. I did like him a lot in Runaway Jury. Thought Dustin Hoffman was good in that too, and I'm not a fan of his.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned my favorite, The French Connection.

Yep. he was the blind guy and possibly the funniest person in the movie. I was watching it a month or so ago and DH and I were commenting on how he could play dramatic or comedic equally well.

I always enjoyed him in Poseidon Adventure.

Totally useless trivia: GH & DH were starving actors who roomed together in the 50's. Runaway Jury was their first film together almost 50 yrs. later. Legend has it they were voted by their acting class as both "least likely to succeed".

I love Gene Hackman, can't choose a favorite. Although for someone who built his career on dramatic roles, I have a soft spot for Young Frankenstein and the Birdcage.

In 'Heartbreakers' Gene Hackman plays a billionaire CEO of a tobacco company who falls in love with Siguorney Weaver who is trying to con him out of his money.

If you have never seen 'Heartbreakers' it is HILARIOUS and Gene is great in it.
