So many good ones already listed, One that I watch and get frustrated with the ending every time is Madame X. I love the movie, just wish the ending was different.

Oh, I almost forgot, I also love the King and I. Yul Brynner looked handsome in that movie.

Casablanca - Love this movie and what amazes me is the fact that it was filmed about WWII, right in the MIDDLE of WWII, time period wise.

Rear Window, The Lady Vanishes, Strangers on a Train, The Birds, Psycho...all great films

I have tried to start watching the older movies that are considered the best classics. I watched Citizen Kane, but didn't see what all of the fuss is about

1. Love Affair - the one with Cary Grant & Deborah Kerr. Always cry at the same spot when I watch that movie.
2. North by Northwest - Cary Grant does a great job.
3. When Harry Met Sally
4. You've Got Mail
5. Rome Adventure with Susanne Pleshette
I enjoy the Elvis movies too.
I get Turner Classic on cable and really enjoy some of the golden oldies.

I must be showing my age, because I count those as pretty recent movies!!

Favorite older movies:
Gone with the Wind
Wizard of Oz
The Little Princess (with Shirley Temple)
Singing in the Rain
The Sound of Music
Mary Poppins
Snow White
Pinocchio
Fantasia
