best Fantasy (San Juan) dining rotation if Palo 1st night?

I know many love the AP rotation with Animators the 1st night, but we could only get Palo the 1st night and we LOVE AP. Which rotation should we request?
I was OK with Palo the 1st night, as many have said the 1st show is not really worth it? yes/no? Maybe we'll just hang out the with our teens from 5:45-7pm at AP then go to Palo.
If we try to change Palo, I know pirates night is considered a poor menu--but we like to be together for pirates night---what is the next least favorite menu--and what are our chances or changing Palo on a packed Easter break cruise?

That's a great question. I'm curious too. We want to plan a Palo night but are not sure when to do that. On our last cruise we did Palo on the last night.

I had no idea you can request dinner rotation???

Our rotation was RAERAER on the Eastern/San Juan itinerary. It worked out well for us.
We ended up doing Palo on our 4th night, the second night at Royal Court out of three. This way we got to meet our waitstaff the first night and enjoy the last night of the cruise at what turned out to be our least favorite dining room. We liked the food at EG and the experience at AP but Royal Court seemed to be the most generic of the dining rooms.
Our Palo night ended up being Pirate night which was also really nice. Palo was quiet.

FWIW, Pirate night is one of our favorite menus, everyone is different.

I would search the menus and see which signature menu looks the least appealing? The first night should be the normal menu for whichever MDR you have that night.

Examples of the other menus can be found by searching the web if you have a chance to switch your PALO night.
