Does all of the Disney College/Culinary interns feel like a family?

Is there a sense of family within the community? What about the apartment complexes? What special privileges do you get when you show the intern ID card? Can you request to share an apartment with just 1 other person? What's it like the first day moving in? What extra activities are offered?

I'm hoping to do the Culinary program.

within the program people are looking out for one another. everyone is there to make new connections, and your roommates become your family.

I found that this website helps break down the housing complexes : mouzekateerz.com/2012/03/07/the-disney-college-program-all-you-need-to-know-about-dorms-roommates-and-housing-costs/

with your disney id you get discounts every where, whether it's merchandising or restaurants. when you get there take a look at the hub ( which will be explained to you at traditions)

you can ask to be in one bedroom apartment, however it's first come bases and it's more expensive.

Your first day can be a little crazy. 1st you have check in, then you gotta find your apartment. next you need to figure out which room you want. after that you will have a traditions class, and I think they take you to casting. after your classes are over you should unpack, meet your roommates and go food shopping,( depending whether you are taking the bus, this can be a very crazy experience because every1 else is going to the store at the same time). oh another note if you have a car, take it!

Extra activities, you have mickeys retreat ( outdoor activities center) for cast members, back stage events, pool parties, house of blues club night, karaoke, party bus :D, etc
