AP discount

Some restaurants we get a 10% discount for having an AP. My question is if my kids who have annuals go with my parents to a restaurant but they do not have AP, can my kids show their annuals to get the discount?

They should be able to. Just have your parents present the card, its not like you would have to show a driver license to confirm ID.

Good Luck

How old are the kids? I know that someone wasn't able to use the AP discount for room only unless they were an adult passholder. This was when the child APs were cheaper. I assume it hasn't changed since you have to be an adult to hold the reservation.

I only bring this up, because that rule may extend to dining discounts as well. The passholder does have to be the one purchasing but can use it for themselves +3 guests.

During our trip last Oct/Nov, I WAS asked to present my ID with the AP for merchandise purchases. Every time.

The stores have started asking for ID. However, the annual passes now cost just as much for the kids as the adults so the kids may be able to use the discount. I'm not sure about that though.

I didnt even mention it to my parents as they could care less about saving 10% but I thought of it. I will have them try and if not no worries.
