Well I passed the stone the day before we left.

But I had that feeling, like you have to go every five seconds...DH was not happy...

DH & I put in an offer on a house... 20 min later our realtor called to say it was accepted

So we bought each other a house for Valentines Day

DH bought me red roses, after we'd agreed not to get each other anything for Valentine's Day since we'd just returned a few days earlier from vacation.

Sorry for the flack you're getting, OP, from some of the posters about your DH not signing your card. Good grief. He took the time to buy flowers, chocolates and a card, and even chocolates for your Mom. I give a big for his efforts!!

Again,

I'd have a snarky remark about an unsigned card. Man, that'd be one of those tiny things that mattered--crazy as that might sound...sign the damn card. How impersonal. It takes 2 seconds to sign a card and if your name is longer than that, shorten it and make it a 2 second name.

I didn't have a super exciting Valentines day because we're going to celebrate Sunday with an NHL game and dinner but, i surprised my girls with a cake I made them ....

I made it while they were at school and coloured some of the cake so it was pink white n purple marble inside.

Beautiful! My mom always made me a heart shaped b-day cake (2/12) and I inherited the pans. I made chili on Thursday and made a heart shaped cornbread!

No pics, but I got a bouquet of some of my favorite flowers (daisies and carnations) and a card. And yes, it was signed.

Well, goody for you.

I sign cards that I give to DH, and he signs them when he gives them to me as well.

But. Why the snarkiness and rudeness to the OP over it?
