Maybe this isn't what you meant, but here is a pic of the valentines DS and I made for his class. (Any advice on how to make the pics smaller would be fine too... LOL)

Me neither. Seems pretty impersonal to me.

I haven't heard of that either , but my parents do something silly and fun . They reuse cards.. not a frugal thing , but my Mom and Dad get a kick out of re reading the little notes they wrote for each other in the early years of their relationship. Mom dated all the cards on the back and kept them... I think it is kinda sweet.

I got lots of sweet treats, flowers and balloons . We usually do more , DH normally gives me valentine PJS and massage , but we are off to WDW soon and we bought a piece of art recently , so we kept Valentines low key this year. I normally buy him something on his wish list from Bass Pro.

I bought DH a cheesecake from Whole foods and cards from kid, pets and a three from me, I found several I thought were hysterical and couldn't pick so bought all three. We don't do mushy cards ... we like the funny stuff, we save the mush for personal notes on it. I keep our cards and date them just like my Mom . Maybe when we hit 40 years we will reuse too lol.

I spent the eve in the ER with pain.

Ended up being diagnosed with Kidney stones. They have broken up, and are passing

I wouldn't wish it on a soul. Absolute agony..However, I am on morphine, and it takes most of the pain away. Was a lovely Valentine's Day..NOT

New for me. I love that part the pest. The cards are commercial (for any occasion), so I love to write my own piece, or read someone's to me. That is my take though.

Glad you had a nice day.

Oh no. I can't imagine doing that drive like that.
I was literally just a mess at home. I finally went bent in 2.
Thank you

Um...ok. So he can't even bother to sign a card to his wife on Valentine's Day. Did he at least write your name on the envelope?

Oh Momma....hope you fell better soon!
