Diet coke in a carry on bag??
I hope I'm posting this on the proper board...... If I buy diet coke at the airport (hopefully they sell cans in a 12 pack or in some package of 20 oz bottles), can I just put it in my carry on bag? I know there are liquid resrtictions on planes but if I buy my diet coke at the airport, after I've gone through security, I should be good, right? Not sure the airport even sells diet coke like the grocery stores do. What to do? Diet coke is expensive in the Disney!! Any thought on this anyone?

Have not seen anything but single cans or bottles of soda in airport shops. There's probably minimal / no demand for a multi pack as they're fairly bulky and heavy to lug around for travelers.
A grocery delivery service like Wegoshop or GardenGrocer might be an option for you, especially if you need to buy other options. |

Ive also only ever saw singles bottles/plastic bottles and airport prices are comparable to the world.
Youd be better served by shipping it ahead of time to your resort, I have always used staples (adding in my printer inks to cover the minimum and get free delivery). And they sell snacks and water etc etc.. Have a great trip

I fly weekly and have NEVER seen a 12 pack at the airport. (Or even a 6 pack of sodas for that matter)
I bought a Diet Coke last week, with tax it was almost $3 for a 20 oz bottle. You can take it on, but of course then you have to haul it around two airports.... |

I agree, you won't find multipacks of soda at the airport.

I know I always want a Diet Mt Dew for the flight and usually they are so expensive in the shops. At least at MSP, they have vending machines for about $2, so I try to get one from there...

Definitely do a grocery delivery order if you need a multi-pack, or visit one of the on-property Hess stations (they are walking distance from either DD or the BWI.)
Soft drinks at the airport will cost you way more than they will at the resorts. Airport prices for drinks usually are the absolute worst, because they can get away with it. |

Last October I packed a 6 pack of Pepsi bottles in my checked luggage. I put each bottle in a ziplock bag and then put all six in a 2 gallon ziplock bag. Gotta have my Pepsi and for grocery delivery there was a minimum dollar amount for delivery.

The Hess mini-mart has very competitive pricing on things like soda and bottled water. You can take a Disney bus to DTD, get off at the PI stop. There is also one near the Boardwalk.

I figured it would be expensive, but I was wondering if it was possible. I guess it's not because they don't sell the larger packs. I have never seen the packs in the airport either, but I've never really looked before either. I could order from garden grocer but I only need one 12 pack because I don't drink it. My husband and my mom do. We don't do refillable mugs because we often leave right from the food court to go to the buses and we don't like to walk all the way back to our rooms to return the mugs. And carrying around the mugs in the park is just a pain. Maybe a trip to the gas station would be the best idea. We have done this in the past. I was just thinking about simplifying the process.
