ADR -Disney Dining

We are traveling to Disney World in early November. Our family has dining reservations each night for 4 people, however, now have a family member that just found out that she is able to join our trip! So far, we have not been able to secure an additional spot for her on most of our dining reservations. Will the restaurants turn our family away if we show up with 5 people versus the 4 we have reservations for?

They might since you would need a six top instead of a four top. It wouldn't be a huge issue if it was 3 going to 4. Maybe if you tell them you are willing to sit at a four top they would be willing to make an exception? I truly hope it works for you.

Extra Person

Don't cry. When you check at the desk just tell them. what's 1 person now if you were 2 plus that changes everything.

You can stick another chair in.

I have 4 in my party most time the table is big enough by itself. If stick another chair and not blocking anything I would not worry about it.

You gotta be original because if you're like someone else, what do they need you for?

Depends...

Depends on how full the restaurant is, how many are waiting, what time of year/week/day... and how popular/hard to get the restaurant is.

You can always try a walk-up add, but be prepared for them to say no.

They can't do that if they are full. It's against fire codes and if you are talking about popular restaurants they likely are full. Reserving anything in November has been clost to impossible.

Sticking another chair in could be a safety hazard to the servers.

Your best bet is to keep looking on line for an ADR. Try for 6 rather than 5. Sometimes that works. You can always ask the day of the ADR and they may be able to accommodate you. But be prepared with an alternative plan if they say no.
