Food and drink on the Wonder that shouldn't be missed

You can ask for smaller portions, but don't count on it. They want to feed you well.

You can ask for entrees to be appitizer size, if you are ordering several, sometimes that works.

Okay, good to know. I'll check when I board but won't know if DS has friends until later. I want to spend most of my time with him but Palo would be awesome.

That's a good idea to ask for appetizer sizes. I know they love to feed..I love to feed too. DS and I may share all of our meals in order to try as much as we can.

The steak is from Parrot Cay's menu on your 1st Parrot Cay night. It's NY Strip w/butter and corn. That's DH's favorite Parrot Cay item.

Do you suggest a certain order I request for our MDRs? I don't even know if I worded that correctly.

We've always just taken what DCL wants to assign us to. Some people feel it's important to be in a specific MDR for specific night, but it really doesn't make any difference. Everyone onboard will order/eat off the same menus over the course of the cruise.

We've done formal night in Parrot Cay, Animator's Palatte, Lumiere's and Triton's. As well as Pirate night in all the various different MDRs. We find it really doesn't make that much difference.

I just double checked and I was wrong about the cut---it's even better----it's Rib Eye. Yum.

I saw that thread but was hoping for more specific opinions on the Wonder choices but it's a great thread. I'll pour through it some more.

PrincessShmoo, I just saw the French Onion uses Gruyère Cheese. My DH makes the most incredible grilled cheese with Gruyère and then pours over béchamel sauce for dipping. It's deadly.

I think that's a good idea. We've never requested a rotation and have found that it gives the seating staff the freedom to place us with the most compatible table companions and best servers.

That's a good point too. I hope because I have a child with me, we don't get subpar servers. DS is very well behaved and not picky in the slightest. He's definitely not a typical 11 y/o boy.
