4 people in a cat 9B on Magic
Hi
 I booked a sailing on the Magic today for 9/27/14 for 4 people~ the DCL rep put us as GTY as he said 4 people won't fit in that room~ it's for 3  So I am ok w the price and it really doesn't matter where we are on board~ but can anyone tell me if this has happened to them , and if so where they ended up ? He did say it could be a better category~ so maybe an upgrade will happen  LOL Just wondering if someone has had this experience before . Thanks in advance ! |

We're cruising in a 9B on the Magic very soon.
  It was my understanding that these cabins held 4 people (there's only 2 of us so we can fit in any cabin). My guess is that some sleep 4 and some do not, and the cabins that were still available on your cruise were the ones that only sleep 3. I will report back on our 9B cabin when we return.

some are 3 and some are 4 some don't have the pull down upper bunk

Some sleep 3 and some 4. THe 4s must be full.....so either a 9B for 4 will open and you'll be in it or you'll get a more expensive room for the cost of a 9B. Good either way.

DCL won't let you be booking into a room that won't sleep the number of people booked. You are GTY because that cruise is close to full now according to reports today. Too bad the DCL reps don't have to pass a class or something before they actually talk to people about booking a cruise. There have been some crazy things said the past couple days!

Last March we stayed in 9C on the Magic and we found it very comfortable for the 4 of us.
