Thanks.
You can call back anytime and have a request added as long as it doesn't get down to a few days before arrival it may be hard to get requests granted then.

You can see the details here.

I forgot to mention that SOME restaurants have Prix Fixe menu that DOES include the appetizer, but other than that, with the regular dining plan appetizers are not included.

I have a friend who I work with that took her children & grandchildren this week. She thought the dining plan was too expensive for her to buy for all twelve people in her family. Instead, she bought the gift cards and put the amount she allotted for each of them for their meals. If they went over, they were on their own. If they planned & chose wisely they had enough to buy all go their meals while they were there!
Thank you We love to do this too! Every time we get paid I'll pop in Walgreens or Lowes and buy a gift card, or order one from DisneyStore.com. Since we don't usually make a lot of dining reservations this is my way of 'having something to do' leading up to our trip

Last time we went, we stayed at BC and it went POR then BC/YC. Not sure where it went after that. :-)

Finally someone else who agrees with me. I keep telling everyone that these beds are not as big as people think. My 5 YO fits great- but the 10 yo- NO WAY.

We are now only a few weeks away from our first stay at POR It's our first time at a moderate (yes, we've been deluxe snobs), but we have always loved the atmosphere at Port Orleans when we've visited. I wasn't pregnant when I made the reservation (surprise!), and we're not staying in a preferred room (we've requested the mansions), but I think it should be fine. I will barely be in my second trimester by that point. We plan on spending a lot of time at Epcot for F&G, so I hope the bus service works out well.

I don't know how big people think the murphy beds are but my tape measure says they are 63" x 30". So an average child of up to about 11-12 should be fine.

If it helps anyone, my 12-year-old DD is fairly tall for her age and she slept very happily on one for two weeks last August. She was 5' 2.5" tall at the time - we measured her, as well as the bed. I don't know whether she'll still be able to fit next trip though. I guess it helps that most people don't sleep "fully stretched out" and tend to curl themselves up a bit.

phew that last post made me nervous that my 12 year old wouldn't fit! I myself am 5'1 and he is shorter than me so he should fit comfortably!

Funny but true.

Did you all see the possible new rooms at CBR? It looks just like the layout of the AB rooms at POR. There's a link to the pictures in this thread, http://www.disboards.com/showpost.ph...&postcount=356.
