Easiest way to get Park Tickets??

Hi there Rookie question but I've allways purchased tickets with resort when going to WDW, this is our first trip to DLR and were staying off property Irvine/Lake Forest area. What's the best way to get our tickets? Online ? At Park? Were wanting to do RD one of the 2 days as well. Looks like were going 14 & 15th. Thanks in advance

A lot of AAA offices have them at discounted prices if you are a member.

Here are the rates I see on my local site right now:

3-Day Hopper Adult: $237.50 ($12.50 savings + free parking)

3-Day Hopper Child (3-9): $223.25 ($11.75 savings + free parking)

5-Day Hopper Adult: $275.50 ($14.50 savings + free parking)

5-Day Hopper Child (3-9): $256.50 ($13.50 savings + free parking)

Any idea why our local AAA branches don't have just tickets This just makes me sad! I checked online and the only discount I can get it for an entire package w/ the hotel

Have you called to double check with them?

My local club's tickets are under a separate area of their website, not with the disney packages themselves....not sure how yours is laid out.

I would purchase the tickets ahead on the Disneyland website. That way, you can skip any long lines at the ticket booths and go straight to the entry gates. Now that photos are required with multiday tickets, you may have a longer wait at the gates anyway -- so why wait in lines at the ticket booths as well? Purchasing from Disney online is easy and painless. Just print out your tickets and go straight to the turnstiles, make sure to have your photo taken, hand the CM your printout, and you will be given a park ticket in exchange. Hope this is clear. Have a great trip!

We are outside of Chicago and our AAA office doesn't have them either, I called to verify. Crazy thing is even our local Disney Stores don't carry Disneyland tickets only WDW. I called to check on that as well.

I've purchased from getawaytoday before and DL.com. I really liked how easy DL.com was- you just take your printed ticket to the gate and they'll reprint you a real ticket vs. getting a voucher you have to take to the ticket booth.

Either way, I'd buy before we go just because it's slightly more expensive at the gate.

I'm waiting to hear back on way.com- whether it's legit or not...because it would save us $190 for our family.

for printing tickets from disneyland.com, do you have to print immediately when you purchase them or does it send it to you in an email that you can print from--I have no printer at home but I could forward the email to DH to print at his office--is that possible or do I need to go to his office and buy them so I can print them immediately? Don't trust him to take care of it, LOL.

The AAA consultant here didn't offer to order tickets for me. I have previously used aRes travel and have also read here about GetAwayToday.com. Both places will save $5 per ticket per hopper.

I always buy tickets before hand, but wanted to use gift cards I bought at Target with my red card to save a little more. Which is why I wanted to get them from the Disney Store.

1st timer to Disneyland and a little confused about tickets. We are staying offsite and purchasing 2-day park hopper tickets. Do we need to get a photo also? It seems like that may be needed for 3-day or longer passes? So confused!
