Realize that room location is not guaranteed - but which would recent visitors suggest? We have stayed in PORFQ before - this time POR Riverside.

We love Alligator Bayou. We like the layout and the quaintness of the buildings. The grounds are nice to explore.

And depends on how many in your party, etc. The murphy bed is awesome.

We prefer the mansion section. Not a fan of the twig furniture and some of the AB buildings can be far out. Both Acadian House & Magnolia Terrace are petty centrally located close to Old Man Island, and a quick walk around that to main buildings with food court, etc.

We loved the Bayou. I didn't use to like the decor, but since the refurb. it is really lovely. My 9yo ds just said today, "Mama, I love that resort we stayed at where the hotel was back in the woods."
