Sweet, creepy or both?

I think it's a cute idea but still find the photos a little strange.

If it was done tongue and cheek as a send-up on the baby announcement, I think it's a hilarious/fun thing to do.

However, if it was done very seriously...well. Hmmmmm. I'm not really sure what to say.

When the pictures first popped up I though totally weird, then I saw the headline adoptive mom and then I thought it was totally sweet.

Those kids have been through a lot. If this is what feels right for their family, good for them.

i think it's great! it was obviously done to be funny.

if you read the article, you can tell they meant it to be silly. they are both laughing at themselves with this. and really, two children got a wonderful home. why can't we just celebrate that? (instead, as per usual on the DIS, we have to criticize.)

I think it is wonderful as they were laughing as they took the pictures.

Everyone should have a baby picture and an announcement. And it brings great awareness to older children who need families.

I suggest reading the article.

The kid wistfully expressed how he wished he had any baby pictures of himself. His adopted mom, a professional photographer, decided to make him some. Together they treated it as a fun, silly thing to do, but it made the boy very happy.

I don't think this is bizarre at all. I think it's incredibly sweet. Most kids today are photographed in their every waking moment, not realizing how lucky they are to have someone wanting to take these pictures.

I think it's absolutely wonderful that they did that! I do hope that they both enjoy being a part of each other's family now.

Oh my goodness! After reading the article, I think this is one of the sweetest, most loving things I have ever heard of. How sad for this young man that he does not have any baby pictures of himself, but on the other hand, how wonderful that he is now a member of a loving forever family.

If it was just the moms idea it would be creepy. Sounds like it was a positive thing for son, and maybe healing for him as well? Anyway since he was proactive about it , it makes it a sweet thing to me

I'm super cynical and was ready to hate whatever this was when I clicked the link, but guess what? I think it's sweet and really cool.

At first glance I would have thought kinda creepy, but reading the back story and seeing how on board everyone was with it and how they had so much fun with the pictures, sure, it's cool.
