Wow took me three days but I finally read all 26 pages. I myself am a turkey leg fan, but don't understand all the hype about:
TSM
Illuminations (the globe that spins for eternity is so boring)
Parades
Dole Whips

The Dining Plan

Seriously, price out how much you'd spend on food (for the way your family eats) then see how much they're charging you for the dining plan. Major rip off
if you ask me. And there really is no such thing as "free" dining. They just up your package to accommodate the food. Buy your room with a discount pin code and you'll save enough to buy your own food.

Liberty Belle River Boat. NO seats, no AC, slow as all get out.

"Free" hot chocolate and "snow" at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Hot chocolate any place other than Disney is cheap. Those of us visiting from the North come to Florida to escape the snow. If you want snow in Florida, visit Blizzard Beach or better yet, Gaylord Palms during their Winter Fest thing. THAT is impressive. And totally free.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but here are a few of mine:
-TSM - I've ridden it. It was okay. I understand that it's a draw because whole families can participate and it's kind of a thrill ride without being a thrill ride, but it's just not worth the trouble, as far as I'm concerned.
-Zebra Domes - Meh.
-Animal Kingdom - it's my least favorite park. True, I haven't done everything there is to do, but I always just get disenchanted and leave after a few hours there. It's just not for me, but I keep giving it a shot.
-Kona - food was great, atmosphere wasn't.

Really, you don't get "Epcot" or any food at Disney- now thats funny.

This is one of the funniest threads I've read here.

Spaceship Earth and Carousel of Progress-died a slow death on each of these
Dining plan-especially now that you have to cancel ADRs or pay. Too much food and too much planning.
Funny how much Dole whips get talked about. No desire to try it
Test track-totally agree with previous poster, about as exciting as driving my car in Kansas. We have cold and occasionally flames too!

This being said can't wait to be there in a week!

I also thought that the keys to the kingdom tour was just ok, and what is all the excitement over the utilidoors (sp).

The family magic tour was fantastic though, very involved.

I get it... no I don't

I get...
that everybody is different

I don't get...
that everybody doesn't get that everybody else doesn't have to like what they like.

No, but it is new and will be all the hype for a while. It is a cult, as somebody else mentioned.... there was the "I gotta get Le Cellier" cult and now there is one for Be Our Guest.

That's exactly what I was expecting! I did not go at night so perhaps that is why it felt like an outdoor mall.

I love 3:30 ADRs, they are my favorite time. We have a granola bar or portable breakfast item very early so we get to the park of the day at RD. Then we break for a CS breakfast or substantial snack around 10:00-10:30. We are ready for a big sit down meal right around 3:00-3:30.
And I love the DP, saves me money every time (so far).
Agreed! I like eating at off times so its not crowded... This applies mostly if if without an ADR and doing cs
