AP Vouchers & MyMagic+

Yes, I know I know - there has been thousands of MyMagic+ threads and I'm just adding to that...but I searched around and couldn't find anything specific to my issue (and could not sift through 1500 pages).

My DGF and I are first time Annual Passholders. We just got our vouchers in the mail on Thursday and we are SUPER excited!!! We are going to WDW 9/25 - 10/6 and staying at CBR. If we are selected to do the MyMagic+ test (or if it goes live by then) does anyone know if we will be contacted ahead of time or if we will know when we get there? I ask because I'm nervous to register my vouchers via MDE in fear of accidental activation. Anyone had any experience with this yet?

The reason I wouldn't register on MDE is that the app/site is so unstable.
Period.

But, if you just REALLY REALLY WANT TOO...
go ahead and try.

I wouldn't sweat unintentional activation of the AP.
If that DID happen, they could simply re-issue you another AP
with adjusted extended end-date when you are at WDW...
because they can actually look up the real date on your file
that you first entered a theme park with
your AP.

My position on all of this is that until they can assure me that all of my
work registering all the little details of my trip won't simply
DISAPPEAR without a trace on their unreliable glitchy site/app...
why should I bother?

I'm nervous to link mine as well and kind of agree with Robo.

That being said, that's part of the reason that I'm still thinking about linking my AP certificates. I've got DVC reservations and AP certificates for a trip in November. I'm nervous that if I don't link the APs I wont be able to book fastpass+ reservations.

really torn.

Same here- DVC reservation and AP vouchers. I only have a confirmation # for the vouchers so I don't think I would be able to register them anyway. I'm hoping FP+ won't be up and running for our trip so I can worry about it after our APs are activated.

Yep, I'm fine with the old fastpass through the 10th of November, that would be perfect.

Not a tester, MDX just lets you link your account to your AP/AP certificate. I imagine this would need to be done in order to be a tester though.
