First trip since..
First I have to say , I am always on the boards here..getting info for Disney and just getting great advice. Don't always post , but read a lot. My kids and I have booked our first Disney trip since my husband was killed last year in an accident. I have such mixed feelings, but my kids are looking forward to it. Thankfully my brother and his girlfriend live down there so they are going to spend a lot of the week with us. I haven't done as much planning as I usually do, figured most of it we will just wing it. Going in June, which is also a first for us, never went when it is warm ( hot) .

Despite the tragedy, Disney can give you that temporary euphoria that you may need right now. Speaking from experience, I went to WDW 5 weeks after my dad's sudden death. It was a great few days of taking my mind off of everything. I'm sure your husband would want you and the kids to be happy and enjoy life to the fullest. Don't worry about not planning as much. You aren't a first timer, so at least you hae some knowledge and experience. I have never been in June either. We usually go in winter to escape the cold and snow here. Just pack light and enjoy the pools and/or waterparks. Bring lots of sunscreen and stay hydrated.

Thank you ..
I normally over stress and over plan our Disney trips, but this time, I'm like whatever we do we do. I know it will be fine, not thrilled about heat or crowds but don't want kids to miss school this year.
