Aft rooms & motion

My family and I just booked our next Cruise on the Dream. Our room is at the very end of the ship. How much do you feel the motion back there?

What floor are you on? We were on 6 in the corner aft room and the vibration was very annoying at night. It went on for hours when the thrusters were on at a certain speed.

We were in one of the handicapped-accessible rooms in the back of the Dream, and we didn't really experience any problems with motion (in terms of the ship rocking).....however, the vibration from the engines could be felt when the ship was pulling into a port.

I have stayed in 5190 on both the Dream & the Fantasy. I loved the location! That's why I've stayed there twice! I think it's all personal perception - I didn't think the motion was bad at all.

Enjoy your cruise!

I've never cruised before, but I did ask our Pediatrician if he had any tips for taking our toddler and baby on the cruise. He said he took a cruise with his wife once where they clipped a Tropical Storm. His wife was sick in their room, and he went to the bar at the back of the boat, and couldn't believe how still it was there. So he said if we feel motion sick, head to the back of the boat.
