Booking question
Trying to decide who to book with, we have a quote from dreams unlimited but if we were to book with Disney directly can we transfer it to a Ta afterwards?
Also if we go ahead and book with either group what happens if the price of the booking drops at a later date, do they give you an auto credit or do you need to catch it? Sorry in advance if this has been posted before. ![]() the main reason i ask is because there is about a 450 dollar difference between the quote from dreams unlimited and booking with disney. The price from a TA will be the same as from DCL. You need to compare and see if they both include transfers or insurance. TAs are not allowed to discount the cruise price, but can give OBC as an incentive. You have 30 days to transfer a reservation to a TA. If the price drops, you can get your price adjusted or refunded [if final payment has been made]. If you have a good TA, they will process it before you even ask about it. You will need to call and request it if it is directly with DCL.

After I posted I went back to the disney site to see where the vast differece was coming from. After going farther into the booking info and adding travel insurance for a family of 5 the 2 match up equally, except the TA offered us a 300 OBC. I think i've found our no brainer option, we have till sunday to confirm our room so I will tackle that tommorow when i'm a little more alert and not creating long run on sentences
Thank you for all the help

Honestly, that price for insurance for four people is outrageous IMO!!! Get it on your own through Allianz. They have a family plan where kids are insured for free. We price it at the cost of an adult in the room for each person to make sure the full fare is covered, along with any other travel we will be doing before and after [which is not covered by DCL's insurance policy]. We usually pay around $120 for the four of us for a 7-night cruise.
