We have 5 full days and we would love to go the day we arrive, but don't want to risk it and wait until the last day. Hope we hear more reports of a 6th day being allowed! Thank you so much for sharing the great news!!!!
We're in the same boat. I would LOVE to visit the parks on the day we arrive. Here's to hoping.

Please Please be true..visiting for our first trip ever to DL in July & it is all about everything Disney for us. We kept debating what are we doing on our free day. Buying 6 day park hopper will make life so much easier

Add me to the list of optimists. Mrs. Llama wants to plan for 10 days, but wants to just bum around for a few days. I do not think she would mind if I skipped over to DL for an extra day at $15.

$15 for an extra day seems a bit high to me. Last year when I bought tickets I bought my mom a 4 day since she didn't want to go 5 and I bought myself a 5 day ticket (which I really didn't need) but it was only $4 more.

Did I get a deal on the tickets or has it just increased that much? I believe I bought my tickets before the regular summer increase.

Is your Mama a Llama? Love that book!

I agree, $15 a day extra would be amazing, especially when you compare to adding a whole new 1-day (even single park) or upgrading to an AP. Years ago (2005 I think), we were going to buy 7-day hoppers and saw that it was $10 per person to add an 8th day. Even though we were flying out on the 8th day, and only had a couple of hours to be in the parks, we were thrilled to add that day for $60 (6 people). I think $15 (8 years later) would be a fantastic price. We are going as part of a convention, and even the 'twilight ticket' (last four hours or after 4 p.m.) is over $50 for single park and over $70 for hopper, per person, for that evening-only ticket! And that is a special deal just for conventions!

Please everyone, if you haven't e-mailed and snail-mailed Disney to request the return of the the 6+ day hoppers, do it today!

No it's been about a $15 difference between 4 and 5 day tickets for awhile now. I think the 6th day used to be $10 and 7th was $5.

Thanks! I must have found a deal with Flight Centre. I know I only paid $4 more for my extra day.

Oh well, still worth it at $15 as long as I get a few hours out of it.

Came back today. I added a 4th day to my 3 day park hopper for 25$. Our original tickets were 3 day park hopper tickets bought with Airmiles, the CM told us they had a value of 250$, so we just had to pay the difference (4 day hopper is 275$).

We upgraded on our second day.

Thanks but anyone is allowed to upgrade to a 4or 5 day ticket. We are all waiting to hear of more reports of 6 or 7 day upgrades since you can't buy anything more than a 5 day ticket, unless upgrading to an AP.

Did you pay $250 for each of your park hoppers? At WDW, if you upgrade after you first used your tickets, you get $250 (or whatever the full price is) of value regardless of what you paid for it. But at DLR, I've heard both sides. $250 of value, or "whatever you paid" of value.

I can't commet on the adding 6th day but I can comment on what happened to me. I bought a 4 day ticket with the promotional rate of $245 and wanted to upgrade to an annual pass on Saturday and they valued my ticket at $275 So I saved $30 :-) I also saved $20 for being a DVC member.
