Check In - Travel Agent Question

Have a quick question...

My AAA travel agent booked our cruise. I have never registered on the Disney Cruise Line web site.

Will it be possible for me to do on-line check in- or does my TA need to do the check in process for me? I assume I would have to register on the web site? I do have the reservation confirmation number(s)- we have 3 rooms booked.

Also- the check in time starts at 90 days? Not certain where or if I saw that number somewhere?

Thanks!

You will be able to complete the on-line check-in process yourself.

If you've never cruised with DCL before, you won't be able to do this until 75 days from your sail date. The on-line check-in window varies for those that have sailed before:
Silver Castaway (completed 1 - 4 cruises): 90 days
Gold Castaway (completed 5 - 9 cruises): 105 days
Platinum Castaway (completed 10+ cruises) & Concierge Rooms: 120 days

Also, if there are 3 rooms, each room will be under a different name and birthdate when you are trying to look up everyone (if you are going to do everyone's check in for them)

And if all are not new-cruisers or the same CC status, the online check-in dates may be different. For example - room 1 is CC Silver so online check-in is at 90 days; but rooms 2 and 3 are new cruisers so online check-in won't be available until 75 days even if the reservations are linked.

I think you will need to register on the DCL website before you can do online check-in. You might want to go check it out in advance so you are ready when the time comes.

Enjoy your cruise!

Make sure you are paid in full first. It may be a bit of a lag between your payment going in and registering if it is done on the same day.

You can do online check-in and get a PAT even if not paid in full yet. PIF is required before you can schedule shore excursions, Palo/Remy, spa, etc.

If you have ever registered with any kind of Disney owned website, you can use that member name/ email address and password to log into DCL. You would not have to reregister because it will tell you that the email is already in use. Your username and password for to log onto DCL has nothing to do with your reservation
