Silly question about character meal

My 3 (will be 4) year old DS has been seeing in the Disney Junior channel that March 1st is Jake's birthday.

We have an ADR for breakfast at H&V. He wants to make Jake a birthday card, would it be ok to give it to him at breakfast.weve given characters pictures at regular m&gs but was a bit unsure about at a meal?!

I'm sure it would passed to Jake's handler for safe keeping.

I think that sounds adorable! I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem at all.

My DD was 4 when we ate there in 2011, she had colored Manny a few pictures (she adores him, she had on Manny dress and hairbow... huge fan). Manny was very appreciative and handed the pics to the CM that was helping the characters out.

I'm not sure what they do with gifts after, but Manny was happy to accept it. I'm sure Jake will be happy to accept a card as well :D

Our son made cards for his favorite Pooh characters and gave them to them at the Crystal Palace character breakfast. Big hit! Just make sure she understands that the character helpers will be the ones to actually take the card and show it to Jake, and hold it until Jake goes backstage (however you want to phrase that!). The characters' costumes are such that they usually can't really hold things, and certainly don't have anywhere to tuck something, so their handlers help them out.

(BTW, our son was always effusive with thanks every time he met a character/got an autograph, and apparently not many kids say "thank you!" spontaneously because he always got a HUGE response from every character! A nice thing for kids to do in any case, but the characters do really seem to notice!)

Yay! Thank you for your opinions & experiences. Landon will be excited regardless of who holds the card, lol.

He is very sweet, I can't wait to see him with the characters, he is so excited!
