Little things that make you happy
I just got a new pair of running shoes. For me the 110. spent is a major purchase. They feel so good and I am bouncing around the house in them. Wish it was warmer out.

cup of tea - lifts my spirits if I need it, warms if I'm cold, refreshes me if I need a caffeine boost, etc... on of my favorite simple pleasures

I'm happy when someone replaces the toilet roll in the bathroom,other than me!
 (thanks dh).My children make me smile everyday with some little funny comments. My dh makes me smile when he tells me,we can go to wdw!

a mini bag of microwave popcorn an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" hearing DH or DD laugh the way my dog (basset hound) grunts when i scratch his ears or under his chin

A cup of hot tea or coffee.
The birds outside my front window on the feeder. The big hug I get from my husband when he comes home from work every day. A sunny day in the middle of Winter!

When you get a check in the mail for over $200 because you overpaid your school taxes when you refinanced your house last year! WooHoo! That was mail worth getting from the USPS today!! And it came just in time to put towards our $750 oil delivery we got yesterday.

I stopped in Rue21 last week & grabbed 3 pairs of jeans & a skirt for DD12 off the clearance rack. 2 of the jeans went back, but she loved 1 pair and REALLY loved the skirt. And they fit! She took a picture of the skirt & texted it to all her friends bragging about how good her dad did - wore the skirt yesterday. Like most guys, I don't exactly have the best fashion sense, so I felt pretty good about this
Oh, and the jeans she kept were $7 and the skirt $3
