Coming from New England, I know a good lobster roll and was really looking forward to trying the one at Columbia House Boy, was I disappointed It was nothing but fake "lobster", gross peppers and so much mayo that you could squeeze out enough to change the oil in a car I took one bite, brought it back and got my money returned

Oh how sad... the rest of the menu does not appeal to me at all and I really wanted to eat here at least once to check it off of my list... Honestly, fake lobster meat would probably not be a problem. I eat the fake crabmeat just fine. but gobs of mayo I cannot handle...

I doubt that any self respecting New Englander would touch the lobster roll at CHH with a 10 foot (fishing) pole. I didn't care for it at all, and I'm not even from the east coast!

I don't eat seafood. I know I am from New England. But I do know what a lobster roll should look like. And this is not it!! One look and my DH said no thanks!!

You'll hear a lot of raves about the lobster roll but not from me! The CHH version is just ick. Now, the tuna sandwich is pretty decent!

I love New England style Lobster Rolls.

I also enjoy Columbia Harbor House, but not for the Lobster Roll.

Avoid the Lobster Roll at Columbia Harbor House, but no need to avoid Columbia Harbor House.

The bread bowl chowder has been gone for years, and years - maybe 10? When did you have it?

Sorry to hear the Bread Bowel Soup is no longer on the menu. Might have been three or so years ago. It really stands out as a good MK meal memory !

I loved the lobster roll! Looking forward to it on our next trip, since it's something we can't get in my part of the world.

I'm here from New England as well and can honestly say it was NOTHING like our lobster rolls here at home. I wouldn't order it again.

We get the Anchor's Away sandwich which is a yummy tuna salad sandwich, and the chicken and fish basket. The fried shrimp basket is really good too. Haven't tried the lobster roll, but we've been to Maine and had the best fresh lobster rolls ever! As the CHH lobster roll is described we wouldn't bother with it :-)

Love CHH! Their fish basket and the shrimp basket are wonderful. DH loves the tuna salad. The salads are always good and my DM likes that you can swap broccoli for the fries. Not had the lobster roll but have had pretty much everything else and we have never had a bad meal there. we eat there at least once every time we visit. It is our go to place for a QS meal in MK.

I also love CHH. I have had the Lighthouse sandwich and the fish basket and they were both really good.
