Luggage Thread (Show Off Your Tastes)
As I am a Cast Member at one of the resorts I see lots of nice luggage every day. I thought of creating a thread where we can share pics of our luggage. Keep it positive and no hate posts on members.
I will start first. ![]()

Its luggage. It gets used a lot & gets beat up & broken by the airlines a lot. Thus, its always at the luggage repair store.
I try to buy for quality or ease of repair & access to parts. Not for looks. Its black. I'm sure you really don't want a picture of it. Its just luggage. Not something to ooh & aaww over. |

Learn from experience what gets broken. Wheels, zippers, stitching of exterior pockets get caught & ripped. Pull handles get bend. |

I never check any bags any more. We were able to fly for a week-long ski trip, bringing everything we needed (ski jacket and pants, goggles, hats, long underwear, ski helmets, SKI BOOTS, plus regular clothes for the week - just not skis or poles) into 21" rollaboards. There's no vacation I can't handle with carryon. We'll never check again - it's not worth the hassle.

We have Rimowa for everything but the garmet bags. It is pricey stuff, but it holds up GREAT. DH's set has been on about 100 international flight, hauled on and off about 10 cruise ships, and rolled over cobblestones streets in various European cities more times than I can count. We started replacing all the other bags the family has one by one after he had had his for about a year.

Calvin Klein Bromley Hardside. Got two pieces of this last year. Very nice, very light. Has a nice carbon fiber pattern.

I have these LL Bean duffles. One large, two medium and one small. I love them! They don't have wheels so they have extra space inside. They're very durable and they fit my style perfectly. The first time I saw them I told myself that I had to have them. They just feel right.
