Love the New Podcast format!

I just watched the first segment of the Dis Unplugged Podcast Video Edition. What a lot of work you all put into it to make everything go so well. The studio is fantastic and everyone looks terrific. I would love to know more about the memorabilia on the shelves and walls.

GREAT JOB!

I blocked off my calendar, booked out a conference room and watched the show today! I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed it. Loved, loved, loved being able to see all of you! It adds so much to the show - keep up the great work

Live broadcast was great. Only problem is now I want to do a split stay at AKL.

A lot of podcasts have video versions.

This is something else though. Nobody has a setup like this anywhere. I love the TV's with the news on while you're talking about it!

Great job guys. So much hard work has paid off big time.

Is it possible to watch other than when it's live? I won't be able to catch it at that time but would love to watch when I get home.

Yes, the shows are archived at www.disunplugged.com and are also available on our YouTube channel as well.

Loved the new format - I listened to the recording and it was still great (even though I couldn't watch it live).

Loved the new format as well! You all seem so natural doing this and Pete was right.....it's just an extension of what the Roundtable has already been doing.

I'm usually not able to tune in live b/c of work but if I am, how do I "chat" and ask real-time questions. Is it through the Livestream webpage or the Dis chat rooms?

Or do I tweet Kevin?

I agree. I didn't sense any nervousness at all. Hollywood and TV actors and actresses talk about "chemistry" all the time. The chemistry that the Podcast team is real, and now we can see it. Great job guys!

The new video shows are excellent. I've watched all three now and loved them even more than the audio podcast.

As one of the people that usually runs while listening this may be a problem. I guess I'll just have to watch them then listen again later on my runs.

Some of the things I loved:
How you switch cameras to other speakers or show what's on the computer (such as during the resort reviews)
Memorabilia around the studio - I enjoyed trying to look at everything and read the titles of the books behind Pete's head...he seems to like collecting Haunted Mansion memorabilia a lot
Excellent picture and audio quality (My husband, Randall, says its awesome and he is amazed how good it is. He says its obvious that you put money and effort into this. And the guys on production, like Dustin, are doing a great job!!! And he says Hi to Dustin too. Me too and Aidan. We enjoyed running into him at the Wilderness Lodge during Marathon weekend.)
Seeing your facial expressions as you talk
The green foliage behind the window and all the stuff adds a very nice quality to the up close shots when filming the host...the lighting on this shot is the best to me

Ok...what's not to love. It's all great.

If I could ask for anything, I would ask whether the microphones can possibly be moved a little lower so that we can see more of your faces when you talk. Teresa's mic on the Ladies show was actually pretty well positioned. It's just that I love being able to see as much face as possible.

Thank you VERY much for doing the audio and now the video podcasts. They continue to be a huge, very huge highlight of my week.

Magical wishes,
Kate
