Disney Visa offer in DTD booth?

Been reading how lots of fellow DVC'ers use the Disney Visa card to their advantage for paying membership dues and other Disney purchases. DH works for Chase, but there's no special employee deals, so we were wondering if any observant Disboarders are at the world (and particularly Downtown Disney) and happened to notice if that Disney Visa booth is still there and what the current perk is. I've gotten web adverts for $100 gift card with the premier card and $50 with the no annual fee card and just wondered if the deal at DTD was the same there. Maybe it's just a tote bag! We'll be heading down for a cruise and staying at VWL Friday, so if anyone has happened to notice the Disney Visa deals and would be willing to share, we'd be grateful. Otherwise, we'll just use one one of the online offers.

Thanks in advance!

On 1/19, it was a $100 Disney Gift card with approval for a Premier CC. Not sure if there was an offer for the regular CC as the offer for the Premier CC was the one on the sign as we walked by.

That they gave you for just filling out the application. Now they run an instant approval process and you only get the Gift Card if you are approved.

I apologize if I come across as a humbug, but the Disney card with the $100 gift card is the Premier version. It offers $0.02 in Disney dollars for a few purchases (Disney related, airfare, gas, and a couple others I think) and $0.01 Disney dollars for every other $1 spent on the card. The premier card has an annual fee.

This is not really a good deal, as the no fee Disney card has many of the same intrinsic benefits (6 moths delay in paying Disney vacations, character meets, etc) for no monthly fee. It only gives $0.01 Disney dollars per $1 spent, but you wouldn't want to actually use it for daily spend anyway.

In all, none of the Disney cards are a good deal for your spend. A flat 2% cash back card is better for redemption dollars. If you want a Chase card, $25,000 general spend on the Disney card yields $250 Disney dollars, while $25,000 general spend on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card yields a coach award ticket on United (excellent availability), 25,000 miles on Southwest, or a one night room at a Hyatt (like the one in the airport). (all have annual fees, too)

Same for the United Explorer card ($25k spend=25k United miles), but you get a free bag, priority boarding and two lounge passes for holding the card.

Point being if you use your $25k in family spend on Disney cards, you'll get closer to an AP, but if you use the $25k spend on another card, you'll be able to afford an AP

Choose wisely, and if you really want a Disney card, get the no annual fee version and enjoy the benefits for no cash outlay.

It's a 49.00 annual fee for the premier Disney Card and well worth it for me anyway. I get that fee back in 1-1/2 to 2 months (I charge EVERYTHING) That gives me at least an extra 1% for 10 months of purchases. When WDW time comes along that's a lot of Mickey ears I can buy.
I do agree on the United Explorer card (have that too) 90.00 a year but free bags for you and guest(wife?) roundtrip. On United that's 100.00 so already ahead 10 bucks if you fly just once a year. Some other usable perks also.If you fly United once a year it's a no brainer

For us the 2% back works because we "do" Disney. At least 3 to 4 times a year. This year maybe 5 times, I'm working on it. We don't need FF Miles because we drive (get 2% on gas). When I upgraded the $50 incentive covered the yearly fee. Seems like a no-brainer for us.
