Question HELP !!! Extra park days after staying onsite question ???

HELP !!! DW and myself will be going to WDW and stayng at BLT Aug 20 - 24 then we will move off property for a conference nearby Aug 24 - 29. My question is if i buy an 8 day pass can i still add the pass to my room key and use my roomkey with the 3 extra days in the park after my stay ??? Because buying two - 8 day passes is $621.90 vs buying two - 5 day passes and two - 3 day passes is $1023.80.

Yes, you can. Expiring park passes are good for fourteen days from first use, no matter what media they're on.
