another option
another option for you (if you can't find a reasonable rate from the Hyatt MCO) would be to stay at the Hyatt Airport Northwest. They provide a shuttle from the airport to the hotel (no more than a ten minute ride from the airport), and a shuttle return to the airport in the morning if you plan to take Disney transportation to the cruise terminal.
The rooms are large with a sofa, coffee maker, fridge, sink. We just stayed there prior to our cruise and a friend left her winter coat there in error. On our return from the cruise, the Hyatt MCO called the Hyatt Northwest, and they delivered her coat to her at the airport... I definitely recommend them for their great service! |

I know they have a good AAA rate right now that includes a free breakfast. Go to the hotel's website and you an see their current offers. Also, do a Google search for Orlando Airport Hyatt promo codes and see what comes up.. Good luck.

We were bumped off our flights last month and had to stay in MCO. The Hyatt was full so we were sent to the Hilton Doubletree.
I am a picky hotel guest but I was overall impressed. Big rooms, good enough restaurant, amazing cookies at checkin (and checkout for that matter), and the service couldn't be better- and that's after being spoiled on DCL. Their shuttle to and from the airport was very fast; to and from the airport we didn't wait 5 minutes total. If you can't get the Hyatt I would strongly recommend checking rates for the Doubletree |

The Choice Certificate works great if you can purchase. The Hotel is very nice and staying at the Hyatt MCO also makes getting to the port very easy.

After tax last month we paid $170. We had a late flight and it was so nice just to be able to walk right up to the hotel and relax.

Some Changes
The MCO Hyatt was upgraded for certificates and it's more. Good news is I just booked three rooms thru Hyatt direct for 152.10 which includes all taxes. I like staying there because the luggage goes right to the ship, and with nine people that's a blessing. We pay a little extra to fly USAIR as our luggage goes direct to our flight from the ship.

Honestly, good rate or not, I would stay there no matter what, although I don't think I've paid more than like $175 either time I stayed there. It's so easy and stress free.

If you go to the Hyatt web site and click on gift certificates, they have "Stay Certificates" you can buy at a fixed price for a one night stay.
Sometimes, you can find Hyatt MCO on lastminutetravel. They hide the hotels, but it is the four star hotel less than a mile from the airport and they have a photo of the hotel pool in the description. |

thanks for all the info. I just looked up the certificates. do they always stay the same price or do they adjust through the seasons. the choice is 152.00 which isn't bad however less is better.
I went to lastminutetravel and they according to what you wrote they don't have any rooms available. it is early, we don't need it till October. i'm going to look at price line now. again, thanks all. |

And you won't likely find Hyatt MCO for October now. Maybe a few weeks before your date. It's a gamble. |

Stayed at the Hyatt MCO a few times, always found great rates at lastminutetravel.com was around 100$ (end of Sept & early Oct).
it makes it easy if you have a late flight and I love that you leave the suitcases in the room and they will pick them up and bring them to the bus (if you are using DCL transportation) Also used it once as a day room as our return flights was 7pm. It was a great way to relax and swim after our cruise.
