I'm trying to decide where to eat for our day at AK if I want to do TS for lunch at Tusker House and then QS at WolfGang Puck express for dinner, or QS at Yak and Yeti for lunch then Boma for dinner?

I have not had Boma or Tusker house for lunch before.

We always have lunch then go back to the hotel for a mid-day nap.

What would you all suggest? What are your opinions of Tusker House lunch and/or Boma?

We would choose Y & Y for lunch and Boma for dinner for two reasons:

1. We love Boma for dinner!
2. Less traveling around since you won't have to get to/from DTD.

I would say yak and yeti (or flame tree) for lunch and boma dinner! Boma dinner is soooo yummy! And such a great dinner after an AK day. Good luck choosing!

I love Tusker House for breakfast, so thats why we have never tried for lunch. I may book a late breakfast with the hopes of trying some of the lunch items during change over...but

I think Yak and Yeti for QS if thats what u like ( Flame Tree is such a good QS)
and Boma for dinner....it is a very yummy dinner buffet.

Boma is excellent but not for everyone. The foods are unique so may not enjoy them as much as others. There are plenty of more traditional items for everyone to enjoy but the real experience is if you like to try new and different foods. For us Boma is on our must do list.

The other reason to go to Boma for dinner is to enjoy walking outside before or after to see the animals in the savanahs. There are CM's there to discuss whats around and some have night vision goggles to use.

We really enjoyed the Tusker House lunch, both the food and the characters.

I vote Boma for dinner, and it doesn't even matter what you have for lunch, because you will know you are having Boma for dinner, and that is fantastic!

Looks like Boma it is! My Mom is not as adventurous as I. But, I already have a few traditional restaurants planned. She'll have to deal. I liked Sanaa, I'm thinking Boma will be great too! Thanks to everyone who submitted a comment!

There are plenty of items on the Boma buffet for non-adventurous eaters. It shouldn't be difficult for her to have an enjoyable meal.
