DL podcast DL 101: MAJOR omission!

Hi all,

I was just listening to the DL 101 segment on the DL podcast. First of all.. to Wayne and the entire team - awesome job! Don't let my petty little complaint make you think I have anything but the highest regard for what you do.

But...

When Wayne introduced the segment... and he said "OK, the first thing we have to talk about is..." Getting there? Really? Seriously, the first question anyone coming to DL for the first time has to ask is not "how will I get there". It is "WHEN should I go"! If you really want to cover a DL 101 - really cover DL for the absolute neophyte - WHEN to go has to be the first question.

Again... that said... awesome job!

Good point. Let me see if I can get in some information on weather and time of year. Thanks for the suggestion.

That would be great information to cover. For those used to WDW crowd levels throughout the year, it is a totally different thing to plan for DL, I would think.

Some time in the next few years, we'd love to get out to DL, and it would be great to know when the less busy times are.

Besides busy times, I would say to plan on going when you have more daylight. It makes a difference.

What if you're like me - and love the parks at night?

Then go in the summer! More daylight AND more night time! (Longer hours)

Actually, I think July is the best month to go. Better than June.

Oh, I just saw your sig says you are going to the D23 Expo. You're right! You do win! I can't ever go then because I'm back in school. Sounds like you already figured out the best time to go.
