Anybody taken your dog to the US?
We will be flying, but any experience will be useful I think--driving cross-border too. I will look up the requirements (rabies and other vaccinations for sure I know), but there's nothing like personal experience. She is quite small, a 5-lb puppy whose mom is only 10 lbs--and she's looking like she won't be as big as her mom. She will be able to fly in-cabin with us. But she's our first dog, so we are complete pet-rookies, for any kind of travel.

We drive with the dog all the time across the border. They just need an up to date rabies shot and you need a vet signed certificate for this. Dogs under 3 months don't need their shots.
http://www.ezbordercrossing.com/the-...ing-with-pets/ We cross the border probably 20 times a year and have never been asked to see the papers but have been asked if the shots are up to date. |

Damo that's great info, thanks! Have you ever been questioned about kibble? We use a Canadian-made brand...I was thinking we'd bring an unopened bag.
