Cape May Clambake or Ohana? - Page 2 - The DIS Discussion Forums

We were there three years in a row & the shrimp were there each time. I really dont think they remove it on certain days. They had a different fish dish each time. But the other seafood was there each time(not only on those specified nightsthat are listed).

What a choice

They are both *must dos* for us. If you like crab legs, you will definitely love Cape Mays. They also have other seafood dishes, plus non-seafood also.

We go there twice each trip, and have never seen the shrimp on the non-shrimp nights. Was so disappointed, as we love the fried shrimp (not talking about the peel & eat shrimp - they *are* there every night).

Actually, they did go through a period when they *did not* have the peel & eat shrimp, just the shrimp in a salad. There was such an *out cry* that the peel & eat shrimp are back (as of Dec.) minus the peel - just eat.

That's the way it was then anyway!

Yeah Thanks, I eat a ton of shrimp and I knew they were not there when we were there in may, I was part of that outcry to the staff/managers. Glad to hear they are back. Looking froward to my trip in April.

we love both places, but we would choose Ohana. Love the Poly and the atomsphere there.

I think I"m getting the best of both worlds. We're having breakfast at Kona and dinner at the Clambake that Sunday.
