If you are eating at a restaurant though, have your ADR printed out and you should be fine. But you should really be eating at the restaurant. We did an Ohana's ressie after our cruise so that we could do a half day at Disney w/o spending a day at the park. So Ohana in the morning, then dole whip on the beach. Was super fun before our late flight out.
If you drive over just tell them you want to tour the resort. Never had a problem with that.

Easiest thing is to park at TTC and take Monrail.

Though this isn't "Disney" it looks like fun! I'd go see these ducks do their march at the Peabody Hotel!

Ride the Monorail - especially the loop from the Magic Kingdom to Epcot and back. Agree with the other suggestions especially sit on the beach at the Poly and watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks and Water Parade. Get a Dole Whip from the Poly. Go to Downtown Disney. You can even, in the evening, ride the bus from Downtown Disney to the Poly and back.
