Fantasy stateroom 5150 ....... a few questions

Hi, I am booked in 5150 on the Fantasy. I had read good reviews and thought it was a good choice. Now I am seeing some negative reviews and am wondering if I should make a change. We are two adults, no children and liked the idea of the bigger veranda.

If anyone has stayed in this stateroom could you please help me decide what to do. I know it is ultimately my decision but would love some feedback. I use a white noise machine so a little noise will not bother us.

Thank you in advance.

If you don't have a problem with folks knocking on the forward cabin wall at all hours, sure keep the cabin. We would relocate.

Is there Pepe's door on the Dream?

On the Fantasy this room is not at the end of a hall. The hall continues around the corner forward past Pepe's door on the left(adjoing wall on 5150) and continues forward to kids clubs. All deck plans I've seen show hall as dead end.

Is this a dead end hall on the Dream?

TIA

I stayed in 5150 this past June and LOVED it! The veranda was fantastic! No problems at all with the room. Didn't hear any knocking on the wall. The only issue was at certain times of the day when we left the cabin and walked past the kids club area the hallway was very busy with parents picking up kids or dropping them off. Not really a deal breaker for me.

We stayed in that room. LOVED it. Don't change it! We often saw people especially kids knocking on Pepe's door or looking at it. But your stateroom door is actually around a corner so you don't see the Pepe folks once you turn to your room. We did hear knocking (faintly) maybe twice during our week long cruise? The large verandah is very much worth it. Have fun!

Thank you for the replies. You have eased my mind and we will keep the room. I don't mind the "crowds" so to speak outside the kids clubs. We are on a cruise, that is to be expected. It was the knocking on Pepes door that had me worried. Seems it is minimal.

Since it is the veranda that sold us on the room, that is where we will be most of the time if we are in the room. We are the type that gets up and out and only go back to change and out again so if we are in the room more than normal this time it will be out on that HUGE veranda.

Thanks again

We have this room for our May sailing. I can't wait for the awesome veranda. I sleep like a rock so a knock here is a small inconvenience...I hope!

We currently have stateroom 5150 booked for our November 29th 2014 Eastern Carribean cruise. We are in our mid 20's so the knocking should not be a problem for us as we will not be in our stateroom much. I would LOVE to see more pictures of this exact room and verandah if possible!

Isn't a 5150 a noise disturbance in California? My mom practiced law in CA and laughed when she saw that door.

5150 is an involuntary psychiatric hold

Has anyone cruised in 5150 on the fantasy recently? Is the noise as bad as some say? I will be in that room in November
