12 year old adult or child menu?
Hi all.
Will our 12 (almost 13) year old eat from an adult menu or a kids menu? Also, I look at allears and the menus are dated 2/11 so they are two years old. Are they the same? http://allears.net/cruise/ships/drea...dreammenus.htm J |

Your tween can eat from either or both. Adults can also order from either.

Kids (as well as adults) may order from whichever menu they wish. Our DS19 ordered the chicken strips off the kids menu every night for his appetizer.

My DD-12 likes to order Chicken tenders and fries as her appetizer. She likes to get steak every night for dinner.

I went to the DCL website and looked at their menus. I sat with my girls and read them the menu items and a lot of the soups and appetizers were appealing to them off the adult menu. They love shrimp and fun, new food, so things like the popcorn soup were right up their alley.

I concur with all of the above, but was shocked to read a recent unfavorable trip report from the Dream that said that adults were no longer permitted to order from the kids' menu and that their servers refused to make any changes to any of the dishes or bring them multiple so they could mix and match...

If a server told me that they couldn't make changes, or I couldn't have my mickey bar, I'd be speaking to the head server.

Why would it matter if adults order from the kids menu? You paid the full fare. Ordering a kids' plate would save dcl some money seems to me.

Correct. First, we've never had a problem playing "mix and match" on the menus. Secondly, if there ever is a problem with dining on the ship, speak to the head server. Things can probably be rectified quickly.

They don't really change. Here are all of the menus from the Fantasy. The link above only gives the rotation menus from what I can find.
