WED was about moving ahead, tweaking, always improving. I think he would be angry in regards to many of the dated, old attractions already named in this thread still being in his World.

I agree with the Swiss Family Treehouse, lots of climbing to see.... furniture. Back in '05 we took our kids to WDW for their first time, half way up my then 5 yr old got tired so I had o carry her to the top and then back down.

I swore I'd never climb that tree again.

Country Bear Jamboree. We have been to WDW 10+ times in the last 10 years, and only went to that show once. There is 20min of my life I never get back.

Aww...I love the Country Bears. I think because it is something I remember going to see when I was little at DL. Then they retired to Florida and my kids never got the chance. I can't wait for them to see it this summer!!

I'm not sure that I see wasted space anywhere that an attraction is currently running - everything has someone who loves it so it isn't totally wasted. Although I too would happily see the Tomorrowland Speedway join us in the 21st century. Love the hovercraft idea.

All of the empty and under-used pavilions in Epcot make me sad, though. I become less and less of a fan of Epcot on each succeeding trip and would like to see them totally revitalize Future World as well as many of the country pavilions. It could just be that I am spoiled with city life and the number of ridiculously good and cheap ethnic restaurants within walking distance of my house and office, but Epcot used to be my favorite park and now it reminds me of the mall food court interspersed with some really good performances (and staffed with lovely, welcoming people). I just want it to regain some of the magic I remember from when Epcot introduced a small town girl to the world.

Ditto

So much actual wasted space in the parks ... As in closed , empty buildings.

But I love classic things that have a "Walt" touch. I shuttered in fear and almost had a panic attack when I read the post listing carousel of progress. My next quip was why not wash all that paint of the windows on Main Street and get rid of thoses gaudy bronze statues .... Lol The. I heArd the response of " always changing never done" " not a museum"so I took a deep breath and chilaxed.
Heck what about river country being revamped for camp ground folks

- also the poster who had the idea of turning the cars into cleaner electric... I love your train of thought.. We need more good ideas like this... Why have they not done this? Cost?

You all mentioned some great ones. I agree with most of them..except you can't get rid of carousel of progress! That's a classic.

I'm going to go out on a limb here. All of Tom Sawyer island and the liberty boat! Imagine all the fun stuff they could do with that space?

Time to put on the Nomex suit, the BIGGEST waste of space is American Idol Experience!!!

Don't like the show, Don't understand the fasination of it, Don't care who wins, Don't care about any contrived show that is telling people who the next star should be and judged buy people with less talent than the singing goat on YouTube!!!

Go out and support your local talent, it is a lot more fun and it will get you out of the house from time to time.

2nd floor of the Imagination building. It's been closed off for close to 15 years and I'd rather see them put some new exhibit/attraction up there or better yet, reopen it with what is still left there including the rainbow tunnel.

Wonders of Life and top of Imagination at Epcot. I've never understood why Wonders of Life shut down. It's a pretty pavillion, it has that sim ride that I am sure Disney could do SOMETHING with. Add a new Body Wars? EO, with respect to MJ, has got to go!

The Tiki Birds. I hadn't done that show in 15 years until our last trip. And will probably never do it again.
